19th August, 2011 – There has been much speculation regarding bushfires in the James Price Point area.

It has been proposed that Woodside is worried about the existence of Bilby habitats in the James Price Point area.  Bilbies are an endangered species that inhabit the JPP area.

Woodside has withdrawn all their workers and equipment from the area and stopped work stating their concern for their workers. They took the water trucks and left the fuel container? One would have to wonder!

Meanwhile Woodside’s Fire Management Plan (World’s Best Practice) is hot in action:

Lock up your gates
Leave the fuel tank and
Take the water trucks”
