The blockade continues to stand strong with some great support from people all over the country and even some parts of the world.

The proposed Gas Hub requires a whopping 8-16 gigalitres (1 Gigalitre = 1 billion litres) of water annually, and would produce 30GL/year wastewater which would be located 2 to 3 kilometres offshore.

Broome town is currently licensed for 8 GL/yr and is using about 6GL/yr.
